FAQ

Is Recompose Us part of Kentlands Psychotherapy or is it a separate business? What’s the connection?

Cherie Morris, founder and owner of Dear Divorce Coach, and Elizabeth Carr, founder and owner of Kentlands Psychotherapy have collaborated to create Recompose Us.

Recompose Us works closely with both entities to provide a full range of services to clients solving conflicts of many kinds.

Additionally, an extensive team of professionals are available through our service to provide legal, financial, educational, and other services as needed to assist you in resolving your concerns completely and with the best possible outcome for all involved.

Do you offer teleconference appointments?

Yes, we are able to offer teleconference appointments for all Recompose Us services.

What does the process of conflict resolution look like at Recompose Us?

Cherie Morris is a Coach and Transformational Mediator. She is your first contact at Recompose Us. She can help you create a framework based on your individual matter that is likely to lead to the most success.

This may require several sessions with Cherie first; and, if needed, you will receive a referral to a therapist(s) while working with Cherie.

You also may work with a financial expert and/or family law mediator or other legal services provider.

The goal is to create a team of experts invested in what you want to achieve and working together to help you achieve that goal. With your consent, we talk to each other to inform all the work we are doing to support your end goals.

How long does it take to resolve my conflict?

We strive to work with efficiency and care to help you resolve conflict in a way that preserves your time and energy. We are trying to help you have a process in place to solve your conflict over time rather than just solve the conflict you have now.

We also recognize that most conflicts did not occur overnight, and it takes time to unwind all the interwoven strands that may exist.

Because you are working directly with Cherie Morris first, you can be assured she is acting as your conflict concierge and is invested in your progress, too.

You can always “check-in” with her by email, text, or telephone to assess progress and create shifts, as needed. Our team is responsive to your needs.

After working with you, what if we still don’t agree?

Part of the Transformational Mediation model recognizes that “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” Simply put, this means that you may not resolve all conflict by the end of your work with us.

However, we will provide tools to continue on this journey and allow you the space and time to return to this work, as you and the other participants are ready to do so.

In the meantime, you can use the practical tools we provide to notice the shift you can create outside of our work together.
